Juan Pablo Sáinz Martínez

My name is Juan Pablo Sáinz. I was born in México City but most of my life I have lived in Aguascalientes, even though last year I went back to México D.F. to finish my law studies. I have been in three Phoenix summer programs, two of them in Notre Dame (2005 and 2006) and in 2007 I went to the Vienna program (that year it took place in Figlhaus), but it was not enough Phoenix for me so I went last year to the Alumni Reunion in Notre Dame. As you can see, as most of the phoenix alumni (“phoenixians”) I found in the Institute the perfect context to grow in soul, knowledge and friendship. This year I will be assisting Prof. Von Geusau in his course and incharge of the extra-curricular activities. I am really looking forward to meet you all and live this magnificent experience with you.
My areas of interest are international law, parliamentary law and national security. I like to read historical novels and biographies and also to watch art films. About music what I like the most is heavy metal, “trova” and irish folk. But what I enjoy the most is traveling.
